Position Summary:

We are seeking a Pricing Analyst to help lead our firm's pricing optimization efforts across multiple business units in the retirement plan administration industry. This role will play a key part in analyzing pricing and revenue data, identifying pricing opportunities, and executing strategic price adjustments that align with our financial goals. The ideal candidate is both analytical and business-minded, capable of transforming data into actionable insights while effectively partnering with senior leaders to ensure pricing initiatives are well understood, properly implemented, and accurately measured.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a hybrid opportunity in the Chicago area with 2-3 days per week in our Downtown Chicago office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze historical client and revenue data to identify pricing trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Leverage analytics, financial modeling, and AI tools to recommend data-driven price adjustments across diverse product and service lines.
  • Develop and apply structured pricing frameworks to evaluate potential increases and model financial outcomes.
  • Partner directly with partner Presidents to review historical performance, explain underlying data insights, and align on pricing strategies.
  • Oversee the execution of approved price increases, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely implementation.
  • Measure and report the financial impact of pricing changes on revenue, margin, and P&L performance.
  • Continuously refine pricing processes by identifying opportunities for automation, improved data integrity, and streamlined reporting.
  • Present findings and recommendations clearly to senior leadership, earning buy-in through credibility and sound business rationale.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in pricing analytics, FP&A, consulting, or related financial analysis roles.
  • Advanced Excel skills required; experience with data visualization and analytical tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Python, SQL) a plus.
  • Strong business acumen and financial modeling expertise.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex findings simply and persuasively.

Pay Transparency Statement:

The anticipated pay range for this position is $80,000-$100,000 annually.

At Strongpoint Partners, our salary ranges reflect the minimum and maximum base pay for the posted position applicable to all locations across the US. Within the posted salary range, individual pay is determined by the geographic location, job related skills, experience, education, and certifications. Our total compensation package includes base pay plus a comprehensive benefits program.
