Pricing and Underwriting Senior Specialist
Purpose of the Role:
To manage the day-to-day activities and perform thorough performance analysis of the portfolio while monitoring price, claims, and client data in addition to market dynamic changes. The Pricing Analyst will generate reports to support management actions/decisions to increase profitability.
Key Activities
- Optimise the use of personal time/effort and assigned work tools/resources in carrying out assigned duties, to ensure work meets agreed standards for timeliness and quality.
- Request design data and other relevant information as inputs for research and analysis.
- Extract premiums, claims, and other relative data and produce analysis to management.
- Assure accuracy of data extracted to be used in the premium adequacy analysis.
- Provide internal and external analysis, forecasts, and trend reports and develop Business Intelligence Reports to share actionable insights.
- Provide loss ratio detailed reports and analytical outcomes by policy/segments/regions/products.
- Provide periodic client performance reports and highlight common trends.
- Manage any other day-to-day trading activity related to pricing and report generation, leveraging existing pricing systems and models.

Typical Education and Work Experience required
- A bachelor's degree in actuarial, Mathematics/Statistics, Finance or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field
