Pricing & Order Management Specialist (Manufacturing)

Gasket and Seal Fabricators (GSF) is a 50 year old manufacturing company serving customers across the Midwest. The company also owns Sealtite Corporation, a well-known aerospace seal manufacturer in STL, expanding our capabilities and long-term growth platform. Together, our companies specialize in custom gasket fabrication and industrial sealing solutions, prioritizing quality, customer service, and employee satisfaction.

The GSF Pricing & Order Management Specialist will be the main point of contact for our customers, help confirm sales orders, and ensure material is purchased for production.

The Company places a lot of importance on fully training its employees. It is expected that this position will be heavily focused on training in the near term – with the goal of helping the rep achieve long-term success. Training will be accomplished by working directly with experienced personnel to learn our customers’ needs, product characteristics, and GSF’s manufacturing process. The rep will also be expected to attend in-person product trainings at Parker Hannifin and other industry events at least once/year on behalf of the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and ensure accuracy of customer sales orders and confirm pricing, delivery date, and other customer requirements
• Calculate customer quotes outlining price and delivery dates for custom gaskets & distribution parts
• Assist customers with date changes, material substitutions, expedites, compliance paperwork, and other customer service requests
• Interact with GSF suppliers and submit orders for necessary gasket/seal material
• Resolve customer issues by investigating problems, offering solutions, and making recommendations to management
• Assist with AS9100 quality tasks such as completing Supplier Scorecards, Corrective Actions, Material Rejections, and more
• Maintain a robust understanding of our customers, GSF’s products, and capabilities
• Develop professional and technical knowledge by attending continuous trainings, educational sessions, and participating in professional organizations
• Contribute to GSF’s long term strategy by accomplishing related duties as needed

Skills & Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in estimation or purchasing
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent customer service/interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of manufacturing, industrial, or assembly processes preferred
• Experience working with engineering personnel or other technical buyers preferred
• Driven individual who is personable and a team player

• Full-time, on-site
• Hours: 6:45am – 5:00pm M-Th
