We are growing and looking for a talented Pricing Specialist to join our transparent and collaborative team.

Responsibilities:

• Process, analyze, and submit complex freight network bid packages.

• Analyze the freight market to understand company freight needs fully.

• Maintain relationships with sales to understand and meet the needs of the customer.

• Help in the maintenance of freight contracts.

• Provide accurate and timely responses to customer’s rate requests.

• Provide rate recommendations to upper management.

• Provide upper management with ad hoc business reports.

• Study freight, rate, and truck capacity trends to fully understand pricing strategy.

• Other duties/special projects as needed.

• Cooperate with the sales department to analyze the market.

• Cooperate with the operation department to reach the highest quality of professionalism and help them if they struggle with the shipping lines.

• Build a strong relationship with the shipping lines.

• Book and Minimize the timeframe of the booking confirmations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• 1-2 years as a pricing specialist.
• High representative skills are a must & Shipping Lines relationships are a plus.
• ERP experience & advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Fluency in English is required (verbal and written).
• Strong Communication and Customer Service abilities
• Sales experience is a plus
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management.
• Alexandria resident is a must.
