Summary

Prepare cost estimates for new & current specifications for both new and existing customers. This will involve liaison with internal departments (design, customer service, external sales) to ensure accuracy of information. Submit estimates to decision makers in his\her plant for approval (margin management), before sending these offers back to the Sales & Customer Service teams.

• To support the Sales & Design Teams with the preparatory commercial work for RFQ’s.
• To support the Sales Team in the final commercial negotiations (preparing cost models, price lists, tender templates, etc) with customers
• To secure the accurate maintenance and update of the SAP costing system for the plant(s).
• To secure the accurate general price updates, including the launch of new customers pricelists.
• To help and support the Sales, Customer Service and Design departments to deal with Business\Margin improvement projects, analysis, and resolution.
• To liaise with the Customer Service Manager to ensure corrects pricing of orders.
• To support Commercial Manager with ad hoc requested projects, analysis, and reports.
• Sustain the Group´s Management System relating to the sales and commercial activity (SSS, GPOT, SDS, SDP).

Saica Sales System (SSS)

To implement in his/her daily business activity the SPK sales approach described in the SSS manual.

Comply with communication and reporting procedures defined within the Commercial & Marketing organization for securing a perfect alignment with all SPK stakeholders. Use the business information systems of the company, to ensure maximum reliability of reporting for sound decision making.

Sales Team Capabilities

To actively participate in his/her own training program definition and implementation, supporting new training initiatives and reporting any detected skills that would need to be reinforced for his/her own benefit.

Requirements:

Academic qualifications

College diploma or degree in Business Administration, Finance, or similar area.

Professional experience

1-3 years commercial experience in business-to-business sectors, preferably with packaging\corrugated manufacturers.

Specific training: detailed in specialized functions

Cost estimating.

Project management.

QSE knowledge/training

Basic training in QSE in his/her plant.
