Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary Care Physician to provide comprehensive healthcare services within a dynamic clinical setting. The ideal candidate will possess a broad skill set across various medical disciplines, including outpatient and inpatient care, with proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and a commitment to delivering patient-centered care. Duties
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, including preventive care, health coaching, and management of complex medical issues such as diabetes, cardiology, endocrinology, rheumatology, and geriatrics.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools such as CT scans, medical imaging, and diagnostic radiology to inform clinical decisions.
- Manage medication administration, including IV infusions and pain management protocols, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
- Coordinate with specialists in areas such as obstetrics & gynecology, pediatrics, neurology, oncology, and infectious disease for comprehensive patient care.
- Perform procedures such as suturing, wound care, gastric lavage, spinal taps, and ostomy care as needed.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ICD/CPT coding standards.
- Participate in clinical research trials or quality improvement initiatives to advance healthcare practices.
- Provide telehealth consultations when appropriate to expand access to care.
- Engage in discharge planning, post-operative care, and follow-up to ensure continuity of care across settings including hospital medicine and post-acute environments.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution with active licensure in the state of practice.
- Board certification or eligibility in family medicine or internal medicine preferred; additional specialization in areas such as cardiology, nephrology, pulmonology, or psychiatry is a plus.
- Extensive experience with EHR/EMR systems such as Epic or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in medical imaging interpretation (CT scans), diagnostic evaluation, and clinical research methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, pathology, and pharmacology relevant to primary care.
- Experience with inpatient hospital settings or Level I/II trauma centers is advantageous.
- Ability to perform invasive procedures like catheterization or neuroradiology techniques is desirable but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach toward diverse patient populations.

Pay: $200,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year
