Primary Care Physician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients seeking medical care, providing comprehensive health assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of a wide range of health conditions. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough medical history reviews, physical examinations, and health assessments to establish accurate diagnoses.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate preventive care, chronic disease management, and health promotion strategies.
  • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or other EMR platforms to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with specialists across disciplines including psychiatry, endocrinology, cardiology, and others to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide patient education on health maintenance, medication management, lifestyle modifications, and disease prevention.
  • Perform procedures such as suturing, basic dermatology treatments, and other minor outpatient interventions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain the highest standards of patient confidentiality and safety.

Requirements

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution with active licensure to practice medicine in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Board certification or eligibility in family medicine or internal medicine.
  • Proven experience in outpatient primary care settings with a strong focus on patient-centered care.
  • Proficiency with EMR systems such as Epic or similar platforms; experience with medical coding (CPT/ICD) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of clinical research protocols and familiarity with diagnostic radiology tools including CT scans is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform comprehensive physical examinations and interpret diagnostic tests such as laboratory results and medical imaging.
  • Strong communication skills coupled with a compassionate approach to patient service; ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Additional skills in areas such as mental health assessment (including PTSD Care), diabetes management, acute pain management, and telehealth experience are highly desirable. Pay: $89,230.53 - $150,000.00 per year
