About Us:
Bliss Specialty Healthcare Group is a dynamic and growing medical practice providing high-quality care across assisted living facilities (ALFs), skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), and home-based settings. Our services include primary care and specialized wound management delivered by a team of Nurse Practitioners (NPs). We are seeking a Part-Time Physician to provide clinical oversight and supervision for our field-based NPs.
Position Overview:
This position is ideal for a physician who enjoys a collaborative leadership role without the demands of a full-time patient panel. You will serve as the supervising physician for a team of Nurse Practitioners, overseeing clinical documentation, supporting medical decision-making, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical oversight for up to 6 Nurse Practitioners delivering care in ALFs, SNFs, and home settings.
- Review, co-sign, and approve patient charts and care plans in a timely manner.
- Offer guidance and support for complex medical cases, including wound care and chronic disease management.
- Ensure NP documentation and treatment plans align with current clinical guidelines and state regulations.
- Maintain accessibility for consultation and compliance as required for NP supervision.
- Participate in case reviews, audits, and periodic team meetings.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO with an active, unrestricted medical license in the state of [Insert State].
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics.
- Minimum 2 years of post-residency clinical experience; experience in post-acute or long-term care settings preferred.
- Prior experience supervising NPs is highly desirable.
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and remote documentation review.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Part-time, flexible schedule (approx. 8–20 hours per week).
- Primarily remote with limited in-field requirements.
