Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient consultations, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses across a broad spectrum of health issues.
• Develop personalised treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Prescribe medications and monitor their efficacy while ensuring safe medication administration.
• Coordinate with specialists for advanced diagnostics such as medical imaging or specialised procedures when necessary.
• Provide health education and counselling to promote healthy lifestyles and disease prevention.
• Manage follow-up care, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Engage in clinical research initiatives to stay abreast of emerging treatments and best practices in primary care.
• Participate in community health programmes focusing on public health initiatives, senior care, hospice care, or home care services as required.

Requirements

• Medical degree recognised by relevant regulatory bodies with valid registration as a General Practitioner (GP).
• Proven experience in primary care settings with knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
• Experience in specialised areas such as ICU, nursing home care, senior care, hospice or home care is advantageous.
• Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and their interpretation is desirable.
• Strong patient care skills with excellent communication abilities to foster trust and understanding.
• Knowledge of medication administration protocols ensuring patient safety at all times.
• Experience conducting or participating in clinical research projects is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams across various healthcare environments.

Pay: $207.00 - $208.00 per hour
