About the Opportunity

We’re looking for a mission-driven Primary Care Physician to join the medical team serving an adult correctional population in the Rancho Cucamonga region. This role is ideal for providers who value structure, teamwork, and the opportunity to make a direct impact through consistent, patient-centered care.

You will manage a panel of patients with chronic conditions, urgent medical concerns, and preventive health needs while working closely with nursing and mental health teams.

What You Will Do

✔ Perform routine physicals, chronic disease management, follow-ups, and sick call evaluations
✔ Utilize electronic medical records to document all assessments and care plans
✔ Order diagnostic testing, review results, and develop evidence-based treatment plans
✔ Collaborate with specialists, nursing leadership, and mental health clinicians
✔ Prescribe medications aligned with facility guidelines and state regulations
✔ Participate in care coordination, audits, and case reviews
✔ Maintain strict adherence to infection control, safety procedures, and ethical standards

What We’re Looking For

• Active California MD or DO license
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• ACLS (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience (primary care, urgent care, ED, or correctional preferred)
• Strong interpersonal, diagnostic, and documentation skills
• Ability to thrive in a structured, multidisciplinary environment
