Primary Care Physician – Rancho Cucamonga, CA (Correctional Health) | Full-Time
Compensation: $158/hr (1099)

Role Overview
A Correctional Healthcare Program in Rancho Cucamonga, CA is looking for a Primary Care Physician who can deliver consistent, high-quality medical services to adult patients.
What You Will Do
- Manage day-to-day primary care needs including evaluations, follow-ups, and chronic disease management
- Complete electronic charting, treatment plans, and progress documentation
- Order labs, imaging, and additional diagnostic tests when medically indicated
- Coordinate referrals to specialty providers and monitor continuity of care
- Participate in clinical reviews, chart audits, and peer discussions
- Prescribe medications in accordance with facility protocols and formulary guidelines
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control practices and safety requirements
- Ensure compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations
Required Credentials
- Active California Physician License (unrestricted)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- ACLS Certification – American Heart Association
- Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in a primary care or correctional environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary setting
