Primary Care Physician – Rancho Cucamonga, CA (Correctional Health) | Full-Time

Compensation: $158/hr (1099)

Role Overview

A Correctional Healthcare Program in Rancho Cucamonga, CA is looking for a Primary Care Physician who can deliver consistent, high-quality medical services to adult patients.

What You Will Do

• Manage day-to-day primary care needs including evaluations, follow-ups, and chronic disease management
• Complete electronic charting, treatment plans, and progress documentation
• Order labs, imaging, and additional diagnostic tests when medically indicated
• Coordinate referrals to specialty providers and monitor continuity of care
• Participate in clinical reviews, chart audits, and peer discussions
• Prescribe medications in accordance with facility protocols and formulary guidelines
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control practices and safety requirements
• Ensure compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations

Required Credentials

• Active California Physician License (unrestricted)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• ACLS Certification – American Heart Association
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in a primary care or correctional environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary setting
