Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Provider in Internal, Geriatric or General Medicine to join our team. You will play a key role in providing excellent care to our patients through patient examination, disease treatment and prevention, and promotion of healthy habits.

Duties

  • Provide high quality patient-centered care
  • Examine patients to assess general physical condition or diagnose medical problems.
  • Collaborate in multidisciplinary team environment
  • Ensures optimal care services are always readily accessible to our patients
  • Reach an informed diagnosis based on scientific knowledge and the patient’s medical history
  • Develop treatment plans based on diagnosis and patient needs.
  • Record medical histories and symptoms.
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., blood tests, X-rays, MRIs).
  • Prescribe medications or drugs and provide comprehensive instructions for administration
  • Primary care experience with geriatric / 55 and older patient population
  • Professional demeanor and bedside manner
  • Follow HIPPA and patient’s confidentiality
  • Be compassionate and approachable
  • In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medicine best practices
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Monitor patient progress and response to treatments.
  • Provide preventive healthcare and education (e.g., vaccinations, lifestyle advice).
  • Explain diagnoses, treatment options, and test results to patients and their families.
  • Refer patients to specialists or other healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Coordinate care with nurses, pharmacists, therapists, and other medical staff.
  • Supervise other medical staff to ensure the care provided meets One Health Medical and State standards

Qualifications

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution with valid licensure to practice medicine in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Proven experience in primary care settings with proficiency in managing complex cases.
  • Strong familiarity with EMR systems such as ECW or equivalent electronic health record platforms.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish), Creole is plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
