Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in urgent care, emergency medicine, or family practice, and comfortable managing a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients of all ages presenting with urgent and acute conditions
• Perform minor procedures such as suturing, I&D, splinting, and wound care
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, X-rays, etc.)
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans in alignment with evidence-based practice
• Collaborate with supervising physicians and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care
• Document patient encounters thoroughly and accurately in the EMR
• Educate patients and families on care plans, prevention, and follow-up needs

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in MI
• Board Certified (FNP, AGNP, or PA-C)
• Current DEA license (or eligibility to obtain)
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care preferred
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
