PRIMARY Computer Teacher

The Primary Computer Teacher is responsible for introducing young learners to basic computer skills, digital literacy, and age-appropriate technology concepts. The role focuses on building curiosity, confidence, and responsible use of technology through engaging, hands-on lessons.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach basic computer skills to primary students (Grades 1–5 or equivalent)
• Introduce fundamental concepts such as:
• Parts of a computer
• Keyboard and mouse skills
• Basic typing
• Use of educational software and applications
• Teach foundational coding or logical thinking using age-appropriate tools (e.g., Scratch, Blockly, robotics kits, unplugged activities)
• Promote digital citizenship, online safety, and responsible technology use
• Plan and deliver interactive, student-centered lessons aligned with the curriculum
• Assess student progress and maintain accurate records
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field
• Teaching certification or relevant teaching experience (preferred)
• Experience working with primary/elementary students
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and educational technology

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
