Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and structurally-driven Primary Coordinator to oversee the academic and operational delivery of our Primary section. You will be responsible for alignment across subjects, monitoring lesson plans, and mentoring teachers to ensure our standardized curriculum is executed with excellence. You will serve as a key bridge between the faculty, parents, and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Curriculum Supervision: Monitor the implementation of the Primary curriculum, ensuring consistent progression and standardized academic delivery across all classes.
• Lesson Plan Vetting: Review and approve weekly lesson plans to maintain high educational quality and engaging student experiences.
• Faculty Mentorship: Conduct regular classroom observations and provide actionable, constructive feedback to teachers to enhance their instructional skills.
• Assessment Management: Design and oversee the assessment schedule, ensuring fair evaluation practices, robust progress reporting, and timely feedback to parents.
• Parental Coordination: Lead parent-teacher conferences and address academic concerns or student progress queries with professionalism and empathy.
• Operational Flow: Collaborate with the administration to manage the daily school timetable, substitute teaching schedules, and resource distribution.

Job Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, School Management, or a related field (Required).
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven experience as an Academic Coordinator or Senior Subject Specialist in a reputable school system.
• Communication: Exceptional oral and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
• Organizational Skills: Strong multitasking abilities with a track record of managing schedules and academic events efficiently.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with School Management Systems (SMS).
