Job Summary

The Primary English Facilitator is responsible for delivering engaging and effective English language instruction to young learners. The role involves fostering literacy skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension, while creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment. The facilitator uses creative teaching strategies to develop students' communication skills and a love for the English language.

Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Learning

• Plan and deliver interactive and age-appropriate English lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
• Develop students’ phonics, vocabulary, grammar, and creative writing skills through engaging activities.
• Use storytelling, drama, role-playing, and multimedia resources to enhance language learning.
• Encourage students to develop confidence in speaking and expressing ideas in English.

Student Development & Engagement

• Assess students’ reading and writing abilities to tailor instruction for different learning needs.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to improve students' communication skills.
• Foster a love for reading by introducing literature, poems, and storytelling sessions.
• Encourage critical thinking and comprehension through discussion-based learning.

Classroom & Behavior Management

• Create a positive, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment.
• Implement classroom management strategies to maintain discipline and active participation.
• Encourage collaborative learning through group activities, debates, and presentations.

Assessment & Reporting

• Conduct regular assessments, quizzes, and assignments to track student progress.
• Maintain student records and prepare progress reports for parents and school management.
• Provide individual guidance to students needing additional language support.

Collaboration & Professional Development

• Work closely with other teachers to integrate English with other subjects.
• Participate in curriculum planning, workshops, and professional training programs.
• Stay updated with innovative teaching methodologies and language learning techniques.

QualificationsEducation

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
• B.Ed or relevant teaching certification is preferred.

Experience

• Prior experience in teaching English at the primary level is preferred.
• Familiarity with phonics-based and activity-based learning approaches.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
