Primary English & Social Studies (SST)(Combination) Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in English and Social Studies as per the primary curriculum.
• Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills in English.
• Teach foundational concepts in History, Geography, Civics, and Environmental Studies in an age-appropriate manner.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, activities, and assessments aligned with learning objectives.
• Use creative and interactive teaching methods such as storytelling, role play, projects, and visual aids.
• Assess students’ progress regularly and maintain academic records.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding students’ academic progress and overall development.
• Participate in school activities, trainings, curriculum planning, and parent-teacher meetings.
• Follow school policies, child protection guidelines, and academic procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Social Studies, Education, or a related field.
• B.Ed. / D.El.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (mandatory).
• Minimum 2–4 years of teaching experience at primary level (preferred).
• Strong command of English language and good understanding of primary SST concepts.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹14,322.83 - ₹35,989.30 per month
