Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate English lessons in alignment with CBSE curriculum guidelines.
- Develop students’ skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking through creative and interactive methods.
- Incorporate phonics, grammar, and vocabulary-building activities suited to primary level learners.
- Use formative and summative assessments to evaluate student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, participation, and collaboration.
- Integrate storytelling, audio-visual aids, and digital learning tools to enhance language learning.
- Prepare and evaluate worksheets, projects, and activities to support continuous learning.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, behavior, and overall development.
- Participate in school events, assemblies, literary activities, and professional development programs.
- Ensure adherence to school policies, safety procedures, and CBSE academic standards.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in English / Literature / Education (B.A. + B.Ed. preferred).
- CTET-qualified candidates preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience at the primary level in a CBSE school.
- Skills:
- Strong command over spoken and written English.
- Ability to design engaging lesson plans and learning activities.
- Classroom management and child-centered teaching skills.
- Proficiency in digital teaching tools (Google Classroom, MS Teams, etc.).
- Empathy, patience, and effective communication with young learners.
