English Teacher – British Curriculum

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced English Teacher to join our growing British international school community in Doha.

We deliver the National Curriculum for England and are committed to high standards of teaching, learning, and safeguarding. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher who is child-centred, reflective, and committed to professional excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured English lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for England
• Assess, mark, and provide high-quality feedback in line with school policies
• Support students’ progress in reading, writing, speaking, and listening
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
• Communicate effectively with parents and contribute to whole-school events
• Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English or a related subject (required for MOEHE approval)
• Experience teaching English within a British curriculum setting
• Strong knowledge of assessment, differentiation, and behaviour management
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a professional team
