Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective Mathematics lessons aligned with the primary curriculum.
- Teach fundamental mathematical concepts including numbers, operations, fractions, measurements, geometry, and data handling.
- Use activity-based, hands-on, and experiential learning methods to build strong numeracy skills.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and teaching aids appropriate to students’ age and learning levels.
- Assess students’ progress regularly and maintain accurate academic records.
- Identify learning gaps and provide additional support or remedial instruction where required.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment.
- Integrate technology and teaching tools to enhance conceptual understanding.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding students’ academic progress.
- Participate in curriculum planning, trainings, school events, and parent-teacher meetings.
- Follow school policies, academic standards, and child safety guidelines.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- B.Ed. / D.El.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (mandatory).
- Minimum 2–4 years of teaching experience at primary level (preferred).
- Strong conceptual knowledge of primary mathematics.
