Primary Music Teacher - KSAB - Maternity Cover

You will teach Music across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

You will plan and deliver a rich curriculum that builds musicianship, nurtures confidence and supports our ethos of The Best by Every Child.

This role includes:

• High-quality classroom teaching from FS1 Year 6 aligned to the English National Curriculum.
• Supporting with year group productions.
• Directing small ensembles and preparing pupils for performances.
• Teaching engaging units that develop listening, singing, notation, composition and performance.
• Effective use of assessment to inform next steps for all pupils.
• Contribution to our extra-curriculum offer and whole-school events.
• Collaboration with other music teachers, class teachers, year leaders and senior leaders.
• Careful organisation and maintenance of instruments and music technology.

You will be a skilled classroom practitioner who believe that every child can be a musician. You will bring warmth, clarity and pace to lessons and model excellent subject knowledge.
