We are looking for a passionate and culturally rooted Pre-Primary Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be more than just an instructor; they will be a mentor who blends modern Montessori methodologies with our school’s core values of Indian culture, Vedic wisdom, and moral science. You will be responsible for creating a nurturing, value-based environment where young children feel safe to explore, learn, and grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Delivery: Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons that integrate Montessori activities with the school’s unique value-based curriculum (including stories, shlokas, or moral science basics).
- Holistic Development: Focus on the physical, emotional, and social development of children, encouraging curiosity through play-based and activity-based learning.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment (including Montessori apparatus) that reflects warmth and discipline.
- Parent Communication: Regularly update parents on their child’s progress, behavioral milestones, and daily activities via the school diary, app, or meetings.
- Event Participation: Actively organize and participate in school cultural events, festivals, and “Divine” themed activities that showcase the school’s ethos to parents and the community.
- Child Care & Safety: Supervise children during breaks, lunchtime, and dispersal to ensure their safety and hygiene at all times.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Certification: Mandatory Montessori Training, PPTC (Pre-Primary Teacher Training Course), or NTT (Nursery Teacher Training) certification.
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a reputed pre-school or kindergarten. Experience with Montessori materials is highly valued.
- Communication: An excellent command of English is required. Proficiency in Telugu/Hindi is an added advantage for comforting young children.
- Soft Skills: High levels of patience, creativity, and a genuine love for children. A personal alignment with Indian cultural values and traditions is strongly preferred.
