Primary Teacher

Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Instruction

• Plan and deliver clear and engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum.
• Teach mathematical concepts using examples, models, manipulatives, and technology.
• Assign classwork, homework, quizzes, and projects to reinforce learning.
• Prepare students for internal and external examinations.
• Conduct regular assessments to track student progress.

Classroom Management

• Establish and maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom.
• Manage student behavior using appropriate disciplinary strategies.
• Encourage active participation and promote a growth mindset toward mathematics.

Student Support

• Provide additional support or remedial classes for struggling learners.
• Offer enrichment activities for advanced or interested students.
• Communicate student progress and concerns to parents/guardians.

Curriculum Development

• Collaborate with colleagues to design and improve the mathematics curriculum.
• Update lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching materials.
• Integrate technology (smartboards, math software, educational apps) into teaching.

Administrative Duties

• Maintain student records, grades, attendance, and assessment data.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
• Assist with math competitions, fairs, and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications & SkillsEducational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• B.Ed or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred).

Skills & Competencies

• Strong subject knowledge and problem-solving skills.
• Clear communication and excellent teaching abilities.
• Familiarity with modern educational techniques and digital tools.
• Classroom management and student engagement skills.
• Patience, accuracy, and strong analytical mindset.

Experience

• 1–3 years of teaching experience preferred (freshers with strong subject knowledge may also apply).
• Experience with the specific curriculum followed by the school.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹9,726.35 - ₹15,000.00 per month
