Required Qualifications

• A degree in Primary Education, Education, or a closely related subject
• A recognised UK teaching qualification (QTS or PGCE) — essential
• A minimum of two years of teaching experience within KS1 and/or KS2
• A strong working knowledge of the English National Curriculum at primary level
• Previous experience in an international school is desirable but not essential

• A thorough understanding of child development and the ability to translate careful assessment into purposeful, differentiated planning
• A genuine passion for innovative, inquiry-led teaching and learning
• Strong assessment literacy, with the ability to track each child's progress and communicate outcomes meaningfully to families
• An instinctive warmth and the ability to build the kind of trusting relationships that help primary-aged children feel safe, valued, and ready to learn
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate young learners
• Exceptional communication skills with pupils, parents, and colleagues
• A habit of honest reflection and a genuine appetite for professional learning and development
• The cultural intelligence and adaptability to work with confidence in a diverse and international school community
• A generous, collegiate spirit and a readiness to contribute to school life beyond the classroom, including co-curricular activities
