Position: English cum EVS Teacher
For an upcoming residential school for girls

We are seeking a passionate English cum EVS Educator who sees teaching as a purpose — an opportunity to spark curiosity, communication, awareness, and empathy in young learners.

Our educators are not merely instructors of language or environmental concepts, but mentors who nurture expression, observation, critical thinking, and responsible citizenship.
This role is ideal for someone who brings subject expertise with humility, embraces experiential and inquiry-based learning, and views education as a shared journey of growth — for both students and themselves.

Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Planning & Delivery

  • Design and facilitate experiential, integrated learning journeys in English and EVS, drawing from Cambridge, NCERT, and other progressive frameworks.
  • Help learners build strong foundations in language and environmental understanding through storytelling, nature-based learning, projects, discussions, and real-life connections.

Student Mentorship & Care

  • Provide emotional and social support, creating a safe and encouraging space where learners feel confident to express themselves and explore their surroundings.
  • Cultivate a growth mindset where questions and mistakes are welcomed as part of the learning process.

Assessment & Feedback

  • Use reflective tools, portfolios, projects, and process-based assessments to document student progress — focusing on communication, comprehension, environmental awareness, and conceptual clarity.

Cultural & Co-curricular Engagement

  • Integrate language and environmental learning with art, nature walks, community activities, reading circles, role-plays, and interdisciplinary projects that make concepts come alive.

Professional Growth

  • Participate in reflective conversations, peer learning, and ongoing professional development within a collaborative educator community.

Parent & Community Partnerships

  • Build relationships with families rooted in trust, empathy, and meaningful engagement.

Ideal Candidate

  • 3–5 years of teaching experience (experience in residential, alternative, or progressive schools preferred)
  • Strong command over English language skills and conceptual understanding of EVS for primary grades
  • Ability to make learning joyful, experiential, and inquiry-driven
  • Familiarity with NCF 2023 and child-centric pedagogies
  • Compassionate, emotionally grounded, and collaborative in approach
  • Comfortable using simple educational technologies meaningfully

Working Rhythms

Schedule: Monday to Saturday (half-day on Saturdays)
Community Life: Active participation in cultural events, festivals, and school exhibitions

A mindful balance between professional responsibilities and personal well-being is encouraged.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
