Position: PRT EVS (Grades 1–5 CBSE)

Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate, creative, and child-friendly PRT EVS Teacher to teach Grades 1 to 5 under the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate should be able to build curiosity about the natural and social world, encourage observation and inquiry, and help students connect classroom learning with real-life experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging EVS lessons for Grades 1–5 in alignment with the CBSE curriculum.
- Teach key concepts related to environment, family and community, plants and animals, health and hygiene, food, water, transport, and our surroundings.
- Encourage experiential and activity-based learning through projects, experiments, nature walks, discussions, and group activities.
- Develop students’ observation, questioning, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
- Integrate art, storytelling, models, charts, and visual aids to make learning interactive and meaningful.
- Design and evaluate classwork, homework, worksheets, and formative assessments.
- Monitor student progress and provide individual attention where needed.
- Maintain lesson plans, student records, and assessment documentation.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student development and academic progress.
- Participate actively in school events, assemblies, exhibitions, and co-curricular activities.
Qualifications and SkillsEducation
- Bachelor’s Degree with D.El.Ed / B.Ed (mandatory).
Experience
- Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience in primary classes at a CBSE or equivalent school.
Skills
- Strong understanding of primary-level EVS concepts and child-centric pedagogy.
- Ability to make environmental and social studies topics relatable and practical.
- Creative approach to activity-based and experiential learning.
- Patience, empathy, and effective classroom management skills.
- Basic proficiency with digital tools and smart classroom technology.
Accommodation & Facilities
- Free meals provided on campus for relocated staff.
- Accommodation to be arranged independently outside the campus; an accommodation allowance is included in the salary.
- School support available for identifying nearby housing; shared accommodation is permitted.
- Transportation provided from a common pickup point to the campus during school hours.
