Position: PRT Hindi (Grades 1–5 CBSE)
Location: Guru Rajendra Jain International School

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and culturally rooted PRT Hindi Teacher to teach Grades 1 to 5 under the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate should foster a love for the Hindi language, strengthen foundational literacy skills, and help students develop confidence in reading, writing, listening, and speaking Hindi.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate Hindi lessons for Grades 1–5 in alignment with the CBSE curriculum.
  • Teach varnmala, matras, shabd rachna, basic vyakaran (grammar), reading comprehension, and writing skills.
  • Develop students’ listening, speaking, reading, and writing abilities through stories, poems, rhymes, conversations, and activities.
  • Encourage correct pronunciation, vocabulary development, and sentence formation.
  • Promote reading habits through storytelling, role-play, recitation, and creative writing activities.
  • Design and evaluate classwork, homework, worksheets, and formative assessments.
  • Monitor student progress and provide individual support where required.
  • Maintain lesson plans, student records, and assessment documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and language development.
  • Participate actively in school assemblies, cultural programs, Hindi Diwas celebrations, and co-curricular activities.

Qualifications and SkillsEducation

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferably with Hindi as a subject) with D.El.Ed / B.Ed (mandatory).

Experience

  • Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience in primary classes at a CBSE or equivalent school.

Skills

  • Strong command over spoken and written Hindi.
  • Good understanding of primary-level Hindi pedagogy and child-centric teaching methods.
  • Ability to engage young learners through stories, poems, activities, and visual aids.
  • Patience, empathy, and effective classroom management skills.
  • Basic proficiency with digital tools and smart classroom technology.

Accommodation & Facilities

  • Free meals provided on campus for relocated staff.
  • Accommodation to be arranged independently outside the campus; an accommodation allowance is included in the salary.
  • School support available for identifying nearby housing; shared accommodation is permitted.
  • Transportation provided from a common pickup point to the campus during school hours.
