Position: Primary Teacher – Science (Grade 1–5, CBSE)
Location: Guru Rajendra Jain International School, Rajgarh, Dhar, Madhya Pradesh
Accommodation: On-campus accommodation with meals provided
Job Summary:
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to teach students from Grades 1 to 5 under the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in foundational science education and the ability to make scientific concepts engaging, hands-on, and easy to grasp for young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver interactive, age-appropriate science lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
- Teach basic science topics such as plants, animals, weather, the human body, food, water, air, and simple physical science concepts.
- Use experiments, visual aids, models, real-life examples, and storytelling to bring science to life in the classroom.
- Encourage curiosity, observation, and inquiry through activities, nature walks, and simple experiments.
- Conduct regular assessments through worksheets, oral discussions, and project work, and offer constructive feedback.
- Organize and promote participation in science-related activities such as exhibitions, quizzes, and science days.
- Maintain a supportive, disciplined, and engaging classroom environment.
- Collaborate with fellow primary teachers and actively participate in school events and community activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Science / Elementary Education (B.Ed preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in primary grades at a CBSE or equivalent school.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of primary-level science concepts and teaching methodology.
- Ability to explain concepts in a fun, clear, and child-friendly manner.
- Effective classroom management and communication skills.
- Passion for building scientific thinking and curiosity in young minds.
Additional Requirements:
- Willing to reside on campus and be involved in the daily life and extracurricular activities of the residential school.
- Open to conducting remedial or enrichment sessions as needed.
- Flexible and adaptable to the values and routine of a residential school setting.
