Job Responsibilities
Design & Technical Review

Review detailed design submissions, method statements, shop drawings, and temporary works related to shafts, pipe jacking, tunnelling, and deep excavations.

Assess geotechnical interpretations, ground treatment proposals, and tunnelling methodologies.

Verify compliance with project specifications, authority requirements, and international standards.
Construction Supervision & Site Support
-
Provide technical oversight during construction of shafts, tunnels, jacking pits, and associated works.

Monitor critical activities such as shaft excavation, ground support, dewatering, and pipe jacking operations.
-
Advise on mitigation measures for ground movement and protection of adjacent utilities and structures.
Risk & Interface Management
-
Identify geotechnical and construction risks associated with deep excavation and tunnelling works.
-
Coordinate closely with stakeholders where works interface with existing infrastructure and utility corridors.

Review instrumentation and monitoring proposals, trigger levels, and contingency plans.
Authority & Stakeholder Coordination
-
Liaise with relevant authorities and stakeholders on technical submissions and approvals.

Participate in technical meetings, design workshops, and site coordination meetings.
Quality Assurance & Compliance

Ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, method statements, and QA/QC requirements.

Witness inspections, testing, and commissioning activities as required.
Documentation & Reporting
-
Prepare technical reports, review comments, and assessment summaries.

Maintain proper records of technical reviews, site observations, and compliance status.
Support to Construction Issues

Assist in resolving technical issues encountered on site.
