Principal Data Architect - Data Engineering

Define and own the overall data architecture strategy.

Design scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms and integration frameworks.

Partner with engineering and business teams to align architectural decisions with strategic goals.

Evaluate and recommend modern technologies, frameworks, and patterns for data processing and analytics.

Ensure adherence to architectural standards, data governance, and security compliance.

Lead solution design reviews and guide implementation of complex data systems across multi-cloud environments.

Drive innovation in data architecture to enable advanced analytics, AI, and ML use cases.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

12+ years of experience in data engineering and architecture roles.

Deep expertise in designing data platforms on Azure, AWS, or GCP.

Strong knowledge of data modeling, metadata management, and distributed data processing frameworks.

Hands-on experience with warehouse, DataLake, DeltaLake, and Lakehouse data architectures.

Ability to design and implement data ingestion from streaming and APIs

Proven experience implementing CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and cloud security best practices.

Professional level cloud certification (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Experience designing enterprise data mesh or data fabric architectures.

Familiarity with data governance, lineage, and observability tools.

Strong collaboration skills and ability to influence data-driven decisions across teams.
