Principal Data Engineering Consultant

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and deliver modern data platforms using technologies like Azure, AWS, Databricks, and Snowflake
• Lead technical engagements, advising clients on data strategy, architecture, and best practices
• Develop scalable data pipelines for analytics, AI, and ML workloads
• Mentor junior engineers and guide teams through technical challenges
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders
• Stay ahead of the curve with emerging data engineering tools, frameworks, and methodologies

What You Bring

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering or data platform development

Expertise in:

• Microsoft Azure and cloud computing concepts
• Apache Spark – Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or another Spark engine
• Python – we build most of our solutions in Python
• SQL – complex, high-performance queries and compute optimization
• Azure Data Factory or other cloud orchestration tools
• Azure Data Lake Storage and Delta Lake
• Unity Catalog, Purview, or other data governance tools
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Azure DevOps

Nice-to-Haves

• Certifications in Azure Data Engineering or Databricks
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps for data
• Familiarity with data governance and security frameworks
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau
• Exposure to streaming data technologies (Azure Stream Analytics, Event Hubs, IoT Hubs)
• Knowledge of distributed compute engines or parallel systems
• Experience building Azure Functions in Python or C#

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹125,000.00 - ₹180,000.00 per month
