Position Overview: Deep Sync is seeking a Principal Engineering Manager (Head of AI) to join as a founding member of our new Agentic Platform team in Hyderabad, India. This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role where you will build and lead the team responsible for architecting our next-generation Agentic AI platform from the ground up.

You will not only lead the strategy and recruitment for this vertical but also write code and define the technical architecture. We are looking for a visionary technologist with a proven track record of delivering enterprise-grade AI solutions in a fast-paced, hybrid environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Founding Leadership: Build and lead the Agentic Platform team from scratch, serving as the technical visionary and "Head of AI" for the region.
• Platform Architecture: Architect and develop the core Agentic AI platform, designing autonomous agents that can reason, plan, and execute complex workflows to drive operational excellence.
• Hands-on Engineering: Actively code and prototype key components of the system (Python/LLM frameworks), setting the standard for code quality and architectural patterns.
• Strategy & Roadmap: Collaborate with global executive leadership to define the AI product roadmap, ensuring alignment with Deep Sync’s broader data and identity strategy.
• Team Building: Recruit, hire, and mentor a high-performing team of AI engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and technical excellence.
• LLM & GenAI Integration: Drive the integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI technologies into our deterministic identity graph and marketing solutions.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 12+ years of total software engineering experience, with at least 4+ years in a technical leadership or management role.
• AI/Agentic Expertise: Deep understanding of the Agentic AI landscape (e.g., LangChain, AutoGPT, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel) and experience building autonomous agent workflows.
• Technical Proficiency: Expert-level programming skills in Python; proficiency in Java or C++ is a plus. Strong experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Milvus) and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures.
• Cloud & Scale: Experience designing scalable systems on cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and using containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Founding Mindset: Previous experience in a startup environment or as a founding member of a new team/product vertical is highly desirable.
• Location: Must be located in Hyderabad, India (Hybrid work model).
