With already more than 250 Employees, Técnicas Reunidas has set a permanent Operations Office in Istanbul from which it will not only develop engineering activities for projects inside Turkey but also for projects worldwide in collaboration with main headquarters in Madrid (Spain). In fact, in the first 5 months since Técnicas Reunidas İstanbul started, Engineering Activities have been developed from referred office for more than 40 different projects and proposals worldwide from 20 different countries, which stands as remarkable sign of work and workload stability.


Responsibilities:


  • Estimate manhours for project proposals and project budget.
  • Collaborate with the Planning Department to schedule instrumentation activities.
  • Develop staffing plans aligned with project targets.
  • Monitor instrumentation execution within budget.
  • Specify, design, size and select various types of instruments.
  • Create and maintain instrument data sheets/specifications for all types of instruments (flow, level, pressure, temperature, control valves, PSV, etc.) auxiliary devices, bulk materials required for installation (cables, JB, trays, glands, tubing materials, etc.).
  • Develop and manage instrument databases (e.g., SPI-INTools, AVEVA).
  • Prepare Instrument Index and I/O List.
  • Review and comment P&ID diagrams.
  • Prepare C&E Diagrams and Process Control/Safety narratives in collaboration with process engineers.
  • Prepare Vessel Sketches.
  • Isometric checks.
  • Coordinate technical information exchange with other disciplines (Planning, Process, Electrical, Piping, Mechanical, Civil, Facilities, Procurement and Inspection).
  • Participate in HAZOP and SIL studies; implement and close related actions review SIL classification and verification reports.
  • Supervise design deliverables: layouts, hook-ups, cabling, wiring, MTO preparation, etc.
  • Calculate / Check intrinsic safety parameters and validate FF segments.
  • Prepare Technical Requisitions for Inquiry and Procurement.
  • Perform Technical Evaluations and Tabulations of vendor offers.
  • Management of Vendor Follow up activities (scheduling Vendor activities, design set-up, document reviews, etc.).
  • Interact with vendors to resolve technical matters through meetings and correspondence.
  • Coordinate with vendors and multidisciplinary teams for system integration.
  • Provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases, as required.
  • OPTIONAL: Experience with process analyzers in CEMS, conductivity, pH meters, chromatographs, and other analytical instruments.


Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in Instrumentation Engineering and Design activities within Oil & Gas, Power Plant and Petrochemical industries.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering deliverables and documentation during FEED/EPC phases.
  • Familiarity with international standards (API, ISA, IEC, ISO, Shell DEP, etc.).
  • Knowledge of SmartPlan (Intools), AVEVA, CONVAL.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Willingness to travel and support site activities.
  • Strong organizational skills, self-motivated, and a collaborative team player.
  • Site Experience (is an advantage).
