Job Summary

Group Zoundi LLC is seeking a distinguished Principal Structural Engineer to lead our structural design department. Based in our Al Sadd headquarters, you will be the technical lead on a diverse portfolio of high-rise residential, commercial, and industrial projects. We are looking for a visionary engineer who combines technical mastery with the leadership skills to mentor a high-performing team and represent the firm to prestigious clients and government authorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Direct the structural design and analysis of complex projects using advanced FEA software (STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000).
• Quality Assurance: Review and approve all structural plans, calculations, and specifications, ensuring 100% compliance with Qatar Building Codes and international standards (ACI, BS, Eurocodes).
• Project Governance: Lead the structural engineering lifecycle from conceptual design through to IFC (Issued for Construction) and site supervision.
• Authority Coordination: Manage the submission and approval process with the MMUP/UPDA and Civil Defense.
• Team Mentorship: Oversee a team of Structural Engineers and Draftsmen, fostering professional growth and ensuring technical excellence.
• Client Liaison: Act as the primary technical point of contact for architects, developers, and government stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• Professional Status: UPDA Grade A registration is highly preferred.
• Experience: 15+ years of experience in structural design, with at least 5 years in a Principal or Lead capacity on large-scale projects.
• Software Mastery: Expert proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), and structural analysis suites.
• Standards: Deep knowledge of QCS (Qatar Construction Specifications) and international structural codes.
