The Mandate

Intersys Solutions is executing an executive search on behalf of a premier engineering consultancy expanding its high-end commercial infrastructure, tech parks, and specialized industrial developments across the Sultanate. Operating from the strategic tech hub at Knowledge Oasis Muscat (KOM), we are securing a Principal Structural Engineer to serve as the ultimate technical authority for structural integrity, design engineering, and code compliance. You will step into a senior leadership role, taking full ownership of structural blueprints, evaluating structural safety parameters, and guiding complex projects from initial soil analysis through to final structural handover.

Key Deliverables

• Author, review, and approve complex structural calculations, foundation designs, and load-bearing frameworks for diverse commercial and technological real estate projects.
• Conduct thorough structural analysis under dynamic conditions (seismic, wind load, soil settlement) utilizing advanced engineering software.
• Lead engineering design reviews, ensuring strict alignment with Oman Standard Specifications (OSS), ministerial building codes, and international structural standards.
• Coordinate directly with principal architects, project managers, and third-party MEP contractors to resolve design conflicts before construction begins.
• Sign off on structural materials testing, site inspections, and structural safety audits during critical concrete pours and framing phases.

The Professional Profile

• 10 to 14 years of solid experience in structural engineering design and construction supervision, with a clear focus on multi-story, industrial, or large-scale commercial developments.
• Mastery of engineering modeling tools such as ETABS, STAAD Pro, SAFE, or Revit Structure.
• Deep, up-to-date knowledge of local municipal rules, engineering approvals, and permitting processes within Oman.
• A bachelor’s or master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, backed by a registered professional engineering license or corporate membership with a recognized engineering body.

We offer a flat monthly payout of OMR 2,100, structured to cover your base remuneration, local housing allocation, and transport expenses. The hiring entity manages your full Oman work visa and residency sponsorship from day one, provides comprehensive private executive health coverage, and covers your paid annual leave along with return flight allocations in accordance with Oman Labor Law.
