Role Overview

We are seeking a Principal Data Scientist to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI and machine learning solutions in the healthcare domain. This role will focus on Generative AI, NLP, ASR, LLMs, and agent-based AI frameworks to drive innovation in clinical documentation, speech recognition, and intelligent healthcare systems.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in transformer models, cloud-based AI deployments, MLOps, and healthcare AI compliance, along with strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.

Key Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Machine Learning, Generative AI, NLP, ASR, and LLMs
• Strong Python programming experience with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow
• Experience fine-tuning transformer models such as GPT, BERT, T5, LLaMA, Whisper, etc.
• Experience deploying AI solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP using Docker and Kubernetes
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, OpenAI APIs, vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate), and RAG architectures
• Experience integrating AI solutions with healthcare systems (EHR/EMR)
• Knowledge of healthcare interoperability and compliance standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, HIPAA)
• Proven experience leading AI initiatives and mentoring technical teams

Key ResponsibilitiesAI Strategy & Development

• Design and implement AI solutions for speech recognition, text processing, and conversational AI
• Develop transformer-based models for clinical summarization and documentation automation
• Build scalable, reusable AI architectures and agent-based frameworks

Model Development & Optimization

• Fine-tune NLP and ASR models for healthcare use cases
• Validate model accuracy and clinical reliability
• Continuously improve model performance and efficiency

Cloud & MLOps

• Architect and deploy AI solutions on cloud platforms
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and MLOps lifecycle management
• Manage containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes

Integration & Compliance

• Ensure AI solutions align with healthcare regulatory and data privacy standards
• Integrate AI models with healthcare platforms and enterprise systems
• Implement ethical AI and bias mitigation practices

Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead and mentor data science and ML engineering teams
• Collaborate with clinicians, engineers, and business teams
• Drive AI research initiatives and long-term technology roadmap
