About the Role

The Print Designer & Production Artist supports the Brand Creative team in developing and producing in-store signage and printed materials for Claire’s retail environments. This role combines creative design skills with technical production expertise to ensure brand consistency and high-quality execution across all retail touchpoints. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of print production processes, excellent attention to detail, and experience adapting campaign concepts into multiple formats for seasonal store rollouts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and produce retail signage, window graphics, and point-of-sale materials that align with seasonal campaigns and brand guidelines.
  • Adapt creative concepts into multiple sizes and formats for a variety of store layouts and global markets.
  • Prepare final print-ready mechanicals, ensuring accuracy in color, scale, specifications, and production details.
  • Partner with production vendors and internal teams to review proofs, troubleshoot issues, and maintain quality standards.
  • Manage and organize files and assets to support timely and efficient campaign execution.
  • Maintain awareness of print materials, substrates, and production innovations that enhance the in-store experience.
  • Support broader creative initiatives, including packaging and visual merchandising elements, as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
  • 4–6 years of experience in print design, production art, or retail/environmental design.
  • Experience in retail, fashion, or beauty categories preferred.
  • Familiarity with asset management systems or workflow tools a plus.

Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Strong understanding of print production processes, color management, and file preparation for large-format printing.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.

Compensation Range: $59,670.00 - $79,560.00

Claire’s is committed to adhering to all applicable company policies and federal, state, and local laws and regulations. All positions will be compensated at or above the legally mandated minimum wage for the location in which work is performed. The final compensation will be determined by various factors such as relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
