Duties

  • Operate and maintain print finishing equipment including cutters, binders, laminators, and CNC machinery to ensure smooth production flow.
  • Perform quality control checks on printed materials, verifying color accuracy, layout integrity, and overall finish quality using color management and typography skills.
  • Execute various finishing processes such as die-cutting, folding, binding, embossing, and foil stamping to achieve desired product specifications.
  • Collaborate with prepress teams to prepare files using Adobe Creative Suite and ensure proper layout design and color consistency before production.
  • Manage inventory of finishing supplies and troubleshoot equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on machinery l to optimize performance and safety standards.
  • Support manufacturing operations by operating forklifts when necessary for material handling and storage.

Experience

  • Proven experience in print finishing or related manufacturing roles.
  • Familiarity with prepress processes including layout design, typography, and color management techniques.
  • Hands-on knowledge of graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Experience working with print advertising materials or packaging products is highly desirable.
  • Ability to operate machinery like CNC routers or machining tools safely and efficiently.
  • Knowledge of quality control procedures to ensure finished products meet specifications.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
