Role Overview

We are hiring a Print on Demand (POD) Specialist to manage and scale our Etsy and Shopify stores.

This is not a basic VA or design-only role.

The focus is on product research, listing optimization, and performance-driven execution.

Your job is to identify products that can sell, launch them efficiently, and continuously improve results based on data.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product & Market Research (Primary Focus)

• Identify profitable niches, trends, and product ideas on Etsy
• Conduct competitor analysis (pricing, designs, keywords, reviews)
• Validate demand before launching products
• Stay updated with seasonal and trending products

2. Listing Creation & Optimization

• Create high-converting Etsy listings (titles, tags, descriptions)
• Upload and manage product variations (sizes, colors, etc.)
• Optimize listings based on performance (CTR, conversion rate)
• Continuously improve underperforming listings

3. POD Platform Management

• Work with platforms like Printify, Printful, or similar
• Ensure proper product setup, pricing, and fulfillment flow
• Maintain consistency and quality across listings

4. Design & Mockups

• Create or edit simple designs (text-based and basic graphics)
• Develop clean, professional mockups
• Ensure designs match current market trends

5. Shopify Support

• Upload and manage products on Shopify store
• Maintain product pages and descriptions
• Align Shopify listings with Etsy strategy

6. Performance Tracking & Scaling

• Monitor product performance (views, sales, conversion rate)
• Identify winning products and scale them
• Improve or remove low-performing products

Requirements

• Proven experience in Etsy Print on Demand
• Strong product and keyword research skills
• Understanding of Etsy SEO (titles, tags, ranking factors)
• Experience with Printify, Printful, or similar tools
• Basic design skills (Canva or Photoshop)
• Ability to manage multiple listings efficiently
