Duties

• Prepare prepress files by verifying color management, layout design, typography, and image quality using Adobe Creative Suite and other graphic design tools.
• Conduct quality control checks throughout the printing process to ensure color accuracy, registration, and overall print consistency.
• Manage material handling tasks such as loading substrates, adjusting machinery settings, and performing routine maintenance to maximize efficiency.
• Collaborate with design teams to review print layouts, troubleshoot issues related to machining or flexo press operations, and implement necessary adjustments.
• Maintain accurate documentation of production runs, machine maintenance logs, and quality assurance reports.
• Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment safely when transporting raw materials or finished products within the manufacturing area.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of prepress processes including color management and layout design.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for preparing print-ready files.
• Understanding of typography principles and print advertising standards.
• Ability to operate machinery safely and perform routine maintenance tasks efficiently.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control throughout the production process. Pay: $19.00 - $29.15 per hour
