Overview

We are seeking an individual for a hybrid role in Graphic Designer/Print Operator to join our dynamic team. This role combines technical expertise in printing processes with creative skills in graphic design to produce high-quality packaging and promotional materials. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Duties

• Assist production with custom print jobs, branded projects, and specialty items.
• Operate and maintain digital printing equipment (Mimaki JFX200 series, Primera CX1200, Color Label Press, and FX1200 Finishing System
• Prepare products for printing and perform quality control throughout production by collecting and inspecting random samples during print runs to ensure accuracy and identify any necessary adjustments.
• Works closely with the Art Department and Marketing to develop, maintain and execute the visual and verbal aesthetic of multiple brands through video, print, web, events and tradeshows.
• Collaborates on projects including die line structures, logo design, typography, color studies, photo retouching, preparing files to printer/vendor.
• Work with internal photographer to edit and finalize raw images using Photoshop and other applicable formats.
• Assist and manage in-house print and large format print execution and production.
• Develop and contribute creative concepts that meet the business objectives that enhances our brand strategy.
• Create catalog and custom label images.
• Meticulously organize and manage image files.
• Prioritize departmental needs and multitask effectively to meet deadlines successfully.
• Collaborates with special projects and performs other graphic based duties as required.

Skills

• 2+ years’ experience working with design and production products.
• Experience with flatbed UV printers (Mimaki, or other similar experience)
• Experience with Label Press and finishing systems (Primera CX1200 and FX1200 preferred)
• Experience in industrial printing
• Comprehensive knowledge of Keyshot, Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Suite, InDesign, Premiere After Effects etc. on MAC platform.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling such a Keyshot, Rhino, Sketchup or Solid Works.
• Experience with color-correcting photography a plus.
• Experience creating professional mock-ups preferred.
• Ability to stay organized, meet deadlines and prioritize business needs.

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
