Role Summary
The Print Production Associate is responsible for operating MetroColor’s print center, supporting both graphic design and production workflows. This role works directly with customers to plan, schedule, and produce high-quality print materials, ensuring projects are completed accurately and on time.
Responsibilities

- Collaborate with customers to understand project requirements and deliver effective print solutions
- Prepare, schedule, and produce a variety of print products
- Operate and maintain digital printing and finishing equipment
- Ensure all files meet print specifications, including color accuracy and formatting
- Apply color management techniques and make necessary file adjustments
- Review job requirements thoroughly prior to production to ensure accuracy
- Follow established quality control and safety procedures
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Perform additional administrative or operational duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Experience in print production, graphic design, or a related field preferred
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of printing processes, materials, and equipment
- Experience with digital printing, banner production, and board mounting preferred
- Familiarity with Fiery Workstation and Onyx software is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Quick learner with strong problem-solving abilities
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
Work Environment & Expectations
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. or more
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods while completing tasks
Schedule
- Full-time: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Overtime may be required based on business needs
- Participation in an on-call weekend rotation (minimum one per month)
- Rotating holiday coverage required
