Summary

The Print Production Specialist at Leatherstocking Timber Products is vital in ensuring the quality and precision of our large format UV printing projects.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain large format UV printers to produce high-quality prints on wood surfaces.
• Prepare digital files for printing, including color management and layout adjustments.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to meet project specifications.
• Conduct quality control checks on printed materials to ensure standards are met.
• Manage inventory of printing supplies and equipment maintenance.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during all printing and engraving processes.
• Document production processes and troubleshoot technical issues promptly.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for print quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with large format UV printers.
• Strong understanding of prepress processes, color management, and graphic design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to woodworking or printing industries.
• Attention to detail with a focus on quality control.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• 1-2 years prior experience in a print production environment is highly desirable.

Salary is commensurate with experience.
