Print & Vinyl Production Designer Job Description

C & H Signs is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Print & Vinyl Production Designer to join our growing team.
This position involves graphic design, vinyl production, and engraving services for a variety of signage and branding projects.

Position Overview

Responsible for designing, preparing, and producing visual materials for signage, vehicle graphics, print, and engraving.
Combines design creativity with production skills to deliver accurate and high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Layout
- Design vinyl graphics, banners, decals, and engraved signs.
- Prepare production-ready files for print, cut, and engraving.
- Collaborate with clients and sales staff to achieve design goals.

Vinyl & Print Production
- Operate printers, cutters, and laminators (Mutoh, Roland, etc.).
- Cut, weed, and mask vinyl graphics; apply to substrates or vehicles.
- Maintain printing and cutting equipment.

Engraving & Specialty Work
- Operate laser or rotary engraving machines.
- Prepare engraving layouts and ensure material precision.
- Maintain engraving tools and ensure high-quality finish.

Quality Control & Installation
- Inspect printed, cut, and engraved products.
- Assist in installation of signs and graphics as needed.

Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of sign, print, or vinyl production experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and/or CorelDRAW.
- Knowledge of engraving equipment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Physical Requirements
- Lift 40+ lbs and handle large materials safely.
- Stand and move for long periods.
-Comfortable working with production machinery and adhesives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.50 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
