Printer Technician

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Printer & Scanner Repair Technician with hands-on experience repairing and maintaining a wide range of printing devices. The ideal candidate should be confident troubleshooting both hardware and software issues and comfortable working independently.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair thermal printers, laser printers, inkjet printers, and multifunction printers (MFPs)
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and part replacement
• Troubleshoot paper jams, print quality issues, connectivity problems, and error codes
• Install and configure printers and scanners (USB, network, Wi-Fi)
• Test equipment after repair to ensure proper operation
• Maintain service records and report parts used
• Provide basic technical support and guidance to customers when needed

Requirements:

• Proven experience repairing thermal, laser, inkjet, and multifunction printers
• Strong knowledge of printer mechanics, electronics, and consumables
• Ability to diagnose problems efficiently and accurately
• Familiarity with common printer brands (HP, Epson, Canon, Brother, Zebra, etc.) is a plus
• Basic understanding of networking and printer drivers
• Good time management and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a printer or office equipment technician
• Technical certification is a plus (not mandatory)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED2,500.00 per month
