Printing and Graphic Design Specialist

The Sammamish Mailpost is friendly neighborhood retail business center that has full-service print operations. It is a fast paced but relaxed and fun atmosphere. In this position, you'll work directly with retail customers in person and via email/phone on various print jobs including Banners, Brochures, Business cards, large format, etc.

This role works closely with retail print customers to assist with print output and some design. Position tasks include operation of digital printers and cutter/plotter and some opportunity for graphic design work. Previous experience is preferred. Candidate should have reasonably good design ability (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.), excellent customer service skills, good time management, and most of all a great attitude.

The ability to multi-task is imperative as we get walk-up customers that have print needs regularly. We are looking for a highly motivated team member who has an engaging personality and can prioritize multiple projects effectively. Positivity and good verbal/written communication is a must!

This position has working Saturday and Monday as a requirement, along with a flexible third day for around 23 total hours each week.

Daily Tasks:

· Fulfill all print orders

· Work with walk-up customers

· Monitor and track orders via email

· Keep track of multiple project deadlines

· Operate equipment (printers and cutters)

· Order needed materials and supplies

· Outsourcing/vendor coordination

· Manage customer files

· Perform graphic design and creative assignments

Required Skillset:

· good English and written communication skills

· Secondary language, i.e. Spanish, Hindi, etc. is an asset however not required

· Advanced knowledge of graphic design tools: Adobe Illustrator (mainly used), Photoshop, etc.

· Constructive and Engaging Personality

· Versatile Graphic Designer Capable of Many Project Types and Styles

· Proactive and Self-Motivated Worker

Preferred Skillset:

· 1+ Years Graphic Design Experience (preferred but not required)

· 1+ Years Digital Print Operation Experience (preferred but not required)

· Experience in a print environment

· Customer Service Experience

· Proficiency in: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Suite Programs

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
