Responsibilities

  • Assist with setting up and preparing Heidelberg 102 offset presses for daily production runs, ensuring all materials and components are correctly loaded and aligned.
  • Support the quality control process by inspecting printed materials for color accuracy, registration, and overall print quality, making adjustments as needed.
  • Help monitor press operations during runs, troubleshooting minor issues and communicating with senior technicians to resolve technical problems swiftly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the press area, including handling waste materials and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
  • Support prepress activities such as color management setup, layout verification, and basic graphic adjustments using Adobe Creative Suite or similar software.
  • Assist with routine maintenance tasks on printing equipment, including CNC machining tools or flexo presses if applicable.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve workflow efficiency and uphold high standards of manufacturing quality.

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of printing processes such as screen printing, flexo press operation, or offset printing is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
  • Familiarity with prepress procedures including color management and layout design will be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of graphic design principles and experience with Adobe Creative Suite software can enhance your contribution.
  • Ability to operate manufacturing equipment safely, including forklifts or CNC machines if certified or trained.
  • Strong attention to detail for quality control tasks like typography accuracy and print consistency.
  • Good communication skills and a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing or print advertising industries is a plus but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates eager to grow their expertise. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
