Prior-Authorization Specialist

Job Description:

HRMD Solutions is seeking an experienced Authorization Specialist with expertise in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and a focus on pain management to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the authorization process efficiently, ensuring timely approval for procedures and medications related to pain management services.

Responsibilities:

• Obtain and verify insurance authorizations for pain management procedures, including injections, surgeries, and other interventions.
• Review patient medical records and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness for authorization submissions.
• Communicate effectively with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients to facilitate the authorization process.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to gather necessary information for authorization requests and appeals.
• Stay updated on insurance regulations and guidelines related to pain management authorization processes.
• Track and document authorization statuses, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of any issues or denials.
• Provide support and guidance to clinical staff regarding authorization requirements and procedures.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 months of experience working as an Authorization Specialist in a healthcare setting, a focus on pain management is a plus
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, coding, and billing processes.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems and authorization software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, providers, and insurance representatives.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs65,000.00 - Rs100,000.00 per month
