We are seeking a professionally trained Private Chef to manage the full culinary requirements of a private household.

The ideal candidate must have completed formal culinary training, have at least 5 years of professional experience, and be highly proficient in English. They should be confident managing a fully equipped kitchen independently and capable of preparing a wide variety of high-quality meals.
 

Responsibilities

  • Plan weekly menus based on preferences, nutrition goals, and schedule
  • Prepare and serve daily meals to a high standard
  • Accurately calculate calories, macros, portions, and ingredients
  • Develop healthy, high-protein, and customised meals when required
  • Experiment with different cuisines, ingredients, techniques, and food science
  • Purchase groceries and source quality ingredients
  • Manage pantry, refrigerator, freezer, stock levels, and expiry dates
  • Maintain excellent kitchen hygiene, food safety, cleanliness, and organisation
  • Minimise food waste and manage grocery spending responsibly
  • Prepare meals for guests and small private gatherings when required
  • Maintain discretion, professionalism, and household privacy

 

Requirements

  • Formal culinary-school qualification
  • Minimum 5 years of professional chef experience
  • Strong spoken and written English
  • Experience in menu planning, grocery purchasing, and kitchen management
  • Good knowledge of nutrition, calorie counting, and macronutrients
  • Ability to cook a broad range of international cuisines
  • Creative, organised, clean, reliable, and able to work independently
  • Private household experience is preferred but not essential
