Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive dental care including general dentistry procedures such as examinations, fillings, crowns, and prosthodontics.
  • Perform specialized treatments including dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, and oral surgery with precision and care.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history review, to develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Utilize dental imaging techniques and maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety during all procedures.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to deliver four-handed dentistry for efficient patient care delivery.
  • Maintain detailed records of treatment plans, medical records, and dental fabrication processes using software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix or similar systems.
  • Stay current with advancements in dentistry, including anatomy knowledge and new treatment modalities to enhance patient outcomes.

Skills

  • Proficiency in dental terminology and general dentistry practices with a strong foundation in pediatric dentistry when applicable.
  • Experience with dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards to ensure confidentiality and compliance.
  • Skilled in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other restorative procedures.
  • Ability to assess patients effectively through clinical examination and medical history review; excellent patient care skills are essential.
  • Strong understanding of infection control practices and aseptic techniques within a busy dental clinic environment.
  • Familiarity with medical imaging technology and anatomy knowledge relevant to oral health diagnostics.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $117,824.99 - $141,896.77 per year
